Rich’s form with the gloves last year was a revelation. He finished with a hefty 21 dismissals, not to mention cutting down byes considerably. Having a ‘keeper who can stand up to most bowlers, takes catches and stumpings, and lets almost nothing through, is a blessing! Batting-wise, Rich has been right down the order most of the season, but will be particularly pleased with his knock in supporting Tom to win the final game against Upottery.
